I wanted to share some great stories about working in the entertainment business for over forty years. I have been so fortunate to have a great career in a business that was never on my radar back during my college days. Given the opportunity to work couple of summers for Local 16 in San Francisco to make some money until I headed off to the FBI Academy for training.

After a couple of years working in the business I never made it to the academy. A new career was in store for me.

This book shares behind the scenes stories of how we the grip department made things happen. What we had to do to go the extra yard to control the sunlight when we were filming with our actors. Or, what we needed to do to get our camera dolly into a spot that wasn’t easy. Rigging cameras and lights on moving cars, making sure everything was safe and secure so we had no mishaps. Using camera cranes to achieve shots to create art in motion. In short, this book shares the many adventures and places I have worked over the years. The wonderful folks who have touched my life through making movies and commercials. I thank you.
